Jammu Airport Expansion, Evening Flights to Strengthen Air Connectivity: LG Manoj Sinha
Jammu, Mar 3, KNT: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday highlighted key developments in air connectivity across Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing efforts to enhance travel flexibility and improve infrastructure.
Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, Sinha announced that evening flights have been introduced, offering travelers greater convenience and expanding flight operations beyond traditional hours. This move is expected to boost tourism, trade, and economic activities by making the region more accessible.
He also revealed that Jammu Airport is undergoing major expansion, aimed at accommodating increased passenger traffic and upgrading facilities to provide a seamless travel experience. “With these initiatives, we are committed to strengthening air connectivity and ensuring better transport infrastructure for residents and visitors alike,” Sinha stated.
