Army today said that it busted a hideout and recovered arms and ammunition present in it in Lolab Valley of frontier Kupwara district.
Army in a statement said it received an information about the presence of an old hideout in the general area of Kangur Nala, Tekipora.
Soldiers from 28 RR after a search operation busted the hideout and recovered arms and ammunition including one UBGL Russian Made, one UBGL Grenade, six Chinese Grenades Type 1, two Chinese Hand Grenade, two AK 47 magazine AK 47, 60 AK 47 rounds of 7.62mm, one Bino and one Pouch were recovered from the hideout.
Police in this regard have registered a case and set an investigation into motion. [KNT]
