A non-local labourer died while another sustained injuries while unloading construction material in Raj Bagh area of Srinagar uptown on Saturday.
Sources said that several labourers were unloading material at an under-construction hotel when two workers sustained injuries. They were immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar, where one among them succumbed to his injuries while another identified as Ladoo Kumar is undergoing treatment whose condition is stated to be out of danger.
The deceased non-local labourer has been identified as 21-year-old Rohit Yadav.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. (KNT)
