Two Arrested for Hooliganism at Bahu Plaza, Swift Action by Jammu Police
Jammu, Mar 19, KNT: Jammu Police swiftly apprehended two individuals involved in an act of hooliganism at Bahu Plaza, following a viral video that circulated on social media. The accused, identified as Rahat Katoch and Danish Katoch, both sons of Satish Katoch and residents of Grand Homes, Suraj Nagar, Jammu, were taken into custody by the Bahu Fort Police Station shortly after the incident.
The police registered an FIR (No. 88/2025) under Sections 74, 352, 351(2), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against the duo for creating public nuisance. Law enforcement authorities acted swiftly, arresting the accused within 30 minutes of the incident.
Both individuals are currently under police remand, and further investigation is underway. Authorities have reiterated their commitment to maintaining law and order, warning that strict action will be taken against anyone engaging in such unlawful activities.
