Govt Appoints Inquiry Officer to Probe Charges Against SDA Officials

 

Srinagar, Apr 21, KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed Mir Nasrool Hilal Jeri, a JKAS officer, as the Inquiry Officer to investigate allegations against certain officials of the Srinagar Development Authority (SDA).

According to a formal order (No. 59-JK (HUD) of 2025) issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department (HUDD), the appointment has been made under Rule 33(4) of the Jammu and Kashmir Classification, Control and Appeal Rules, 1956.

The inquiry pertains to charges leveled against unnamed officials of the SDA. The appointed officer, Mr. Jeri, has been directed to complete the inquiry and submit a detailed report within one week from the date of the order.

The government order has been signed by Commissioner Secretary Mandeep Kaur.
