GOC White Knight Corps Reviews Counter-Militancy Operations in Jammu Region
Srinagar, Apr 3, KNT: General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General PK Mishra, visited the Dharmund Garrison to assess operational preparedness and ongoing counter-militancy operations in Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban districts.
During his visit, Lt Gen Mishra reviewed the security situation and lauded the unwavering resolve and professionalism of the troops engaged in counter-militancy efforts. He acknowledged their relentless dedication in maintaining stability in the region and ensuring the safety of civilians.
The GOC also interacted with ex-servicemen, recognizing their continued contribution to nation-building even after retirement. He praised their role in strengthening the security framework and fostering a sense of unity within the community.
The visit comes at a time when security forces are engaged in a high-intensity operation in Kathua, where a massive search is underway to track down infiltrating militants who escaped multiple encounters. Security forces remain on high alert across the Jammu region, maintaining pressure on militant networks and their support structures.
