Union Home Secretary to Review Security Situation in Jammu After Killing of Three Civilians

Jammu, Mar 9, KNT: In the wake of the killing of three missing persons, allegedly by militants, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan is set to visit Jammu on Sunday to assess the security situation in the union territory, with a particular focus on making the Jammu division free from militant activities.
The high-level security review meeting will be attended by top officials from the Intelligence Bureau, Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Jammu and Kashmir Police, UT intelligence agencies, and senior officers of the UT administration.
The visit comes a day after security forces recovered the bodies of three civilians who had gone missing from the Kathua district. The incident has raised concerns about the security scenario in the region, prompting intensified counter-militant operations.
