Two Absconding Bovine Smugglers Arrested After 10 Years

Srinagar, Mar 15, KNT: After a decade on the run, Samba Police have successfully apprehended two absconders who were wanted in a case registered in 2014 at Police Station Samba.

A team from PS Samba, led by SHO Samba and operating under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Samba, with overall oversight from SSP Samba, managed to track down and arrest two hardcore bovine smugglers following relentless efforts. The arrested individuals have been identified as Maskeen Ali, son of Jamat Ali, and Kalam Din, son of Alam Din—both residents of Rangoora, Jammu.

The duo had been evading arrest since 2014 in connection with FIR No. 132/2014, registered under Section 188 RPC at PS Samba. Following their arrest, they were presented before the court, and the long-pending arrest warrants under Section 512 CrPC were executed.
