Pakistani Intruder Caught Along International Border in Kathua

Kathua, Mar 20, KNT: Joint forces apprehended a Pakistani national while he was attempting to cross the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, police sources said on Thursday.
The intruder was intercepted in the Hiranagar sector on Wednesday night after security personnel noticed suspicious movement near the border. Upon detecting the attempt to cross over, the forces fired warning shots before capturing the suspect, sources added.
The individual has been identified as Qadir Baksh, a resident of Gafurabad in Pakistan’s Chiniot Tehsil. Authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the incident. [KNT]
