Crime Branch Issues Lookout Notice for Six in Online Fraud Case

The Crime Branch of Jammu and Kashmir Police has issued a lookout notice against six individuals, including two women, accused of defrauding a retired serviceman of over Rs 17.50 lakh through a money-doubling scam, an official said on Monday.
The case, registered in 2022 at the Special Crime Wing (SCW) police station in Jammu, stemmed from a complaint by the victim, who was lured into the fraudulent scheme, the official added.
The accused named in the lookout notice include Rajni Sharma (33) from Bhopal, Rekha (44) from Gurugram, Sanjay Heela (39) from West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas, Akash (35) from Gorakhpur, Mohd Hasin Khan (28) from Gurugram, and Virendra (29), also from Gurugram.
Senior Superintendent of Police, SCW Jammu, Sanjay Parihar, has appealed for any information on the suspects to aid in their arrest and further investigation.
