Restaurant Sealed in Magam Over Unhygienic Conditions

 

Budgam, Feb 11, KNT: Authorities sealed a restaurant in Magam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district over unhygienic conditions.

A team led by Sheikh Ishaq Ahmed, Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Magam, sealed ‘Janbaaz Restaurant’ due to poor hygiene standards.

Acting on a complaint regarding the lack of cleanliness, the Executive Officer inspected the restaurant and found unhygienic conditions, leading to its immediate closure. He urged all shopkeepers in Magam Market to maintain cleanliness, warning of legal action against violators.

Municipal Committee Magam emphasized the importance of hygiene and encouraged the public to report instances of food adulteration or unsanitary practices. [KNT]
