Islamic Global School Takes Legal Action Against BOSE Over Student Exam Rejections

Srinagar, Feb 16, KNT: Islamic Global School has taken legal action against the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) after the board rejected the examination forms of 22 students, citing the alleged non-registration of the school.

A spokesperson from the school told Kashmir News Trust (KNT) that the institution holds formal registration, and despite obtaining tagging orders from the Directorate of School Education, the students have been denied permission to appear in the Class 10th board examinations.

“It is ironic that our students are being barred from taking their exams when our school has proper registration. We are unable to understand why our students are being singled out,” the spokesperson said, confirming that the school management has filed a case against BOSE in court.

Meanwhile, renowned educationist GN Var expressed concern over the plight of the students, stating that their academic careers are now at risk. “It is unfortunate that innocent students are suffering due to hurdles. Despite repeated attempts to contact the BOSE chairman for clarification, there has been no response,” he said. [KNT]
