Class 11th Students Outraged as JKBOSE Includes Three Out-of-Syllabus Questions Worth 16 Marks BOSE Assures Review, Promises Grace Marks

Srinagar, Feb 26, KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is once again in the spotlight for repeated exam blunders, sparking outrage among students. After errors in Class 10 papers, Class 11 Mathematics students found three out-of-syllabus questions worth 16 marks in their February 25 exam.
This follows a series of mistakes, including out-of-syllabus questions in Class 10 English and Urdu exams and a factual error in the Social Studies paper. Students and parents are demanding urgent reforms, especially as JKBOSE operates without a permanent chairperson since January 25.
A JKBOSE official assured that a committee is reviewing the errors and grace marks will be provided where needed. However, concerns over the board’s efficiency continue to mount, with calls for immediate corrective action. [KNT]
