Accident at Battery Chashma on Srinagar-Jammu Highway, One Dead

Srinagar, Feb 12, KNT: An accident occurred at Battery Chashma on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway in Ramban on Wednesday, resulting in the death of a man after his car skidded off the road and rolled down a deep gorge.

The deceased has been identified as Amit Koul, a resident of Bari Brahmana, Jammu.

The vehicle of the deceased, bearing registration number JK02BC-5010, was completely damaged in the accident.

Police and rescue teams rushed to the spot, but Koul had already succumbed to his injuries on the spot. [KNT]
