Trio Including 2 Engineers Injured in Road Accident in Poonch

 

Poonch, Jan 8, KNT: Three people, including two Junior Engineers, were injured in a road accident on Wednesday near Dhakki Bridge at OP Hill Ground in the Mendhar area of Poonch district.

According to officials, the accident occurred when a motorcycle collided with a Tata Sumo near OP Hill Ground, Mendhar. The injured were promptly shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Mendhar for treatment.

The injured have been identified as Akshit Sharma (28), a Junior Engineer and resident of Jammu; Amar Khan (26), a Junior Engineer and resident of Ari Sharuti; and Ruby Kousar (27), wife of Tariq Hussain and resident of Kalaban.

Dr. Javid Iqbal, Medical Officer at SDH Mendhar, confirmed the incident. He stated that among the injured, Amar Khan has been referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri for advanced treatment.. [KNT]
