New Education Policy to Empower J&K Youth for Global Success, Says LG
Jammu, Jan 24, KNT: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir during the BRICS Youth Council Entrepreneurship run-up event at IIM Jammu.
Highlighting the region’s rapid industrial growth, LG Sinha emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir has experienced an unprecedented surge in industrial development. “In recent years, numerous industries have been established, with many more in progress,” he said, expressing confidence that the youth of J&K will emerge as leading entrepreneurs, making significant contributions to the national economy.
Calling upon the younger generation to uphold India’s legacy as a global knowledge hub, he said, “The youth hold the responsibility to elevate the country to new heights.”
Lauding the New Education Policy (NEP), the Lieutenant Governor described it as a transformative framework poised to shape India’s educational and technological future.
“The NEP serves as a revolutionary roadmap, aligning our education system with global standards and fostering innovation,” he remarked.
He also underlined the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in driving technological progress. “The partnership between educational institutions and industries is critical for fostering innovation and developing advanced technologies that will position India as a global leader,” LG Sinha added.
