Touching upon the broader security situation, the Army Chief described the state of the northern borders as “normal but sensitive.”
He assured the nation that the Army is fully prepared to address any challenges while focusing on the development of modern and critical infrastructure along these sensitive zones.
On the western front, General Dwivedi acknowledged that while the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) is being maintained, attempts at infiltration are ongoing. The Army remains vigilant and committed to thwarting these efforts. [KNT]
