Khansahab, Jan 11, KNT: The Jammu Kashmir Police successfully located and returned jewellery worth Rs 3 lakhs that had been lost by tourists from Hyderabad India at Doodhpathri in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Reports said that the tourists had visited Doodhpathri and, unfortunately, misplaced their valuable jewellery. Upon realizing the loss, the tourists filed a complaint with the local police, prompting immediate action.
A special team, led by SHO Khansahib Turk Zahoor and supported by his escort team, launched an extensive search operation in the area.
After hours of diligent searching, the team managed to spot the lost jewellery and safely returned it to its rightful owners.
Notably, a few days ago, in the face of heavy snowfall, SDPO Khansahib Nisar Darzi, SHO Turk Zahoor, and their team had rescued stranded tourists at the same tourist resort.
The tourists from Hyderabad were full of praise for the Jammu and Kashmir Police. They lauded the professionalism and swift action of the Khansahib police team, calling their efforts extraordinary. The tourists expressed their gratitude for the exceptional service they received in both locating their lost belongings and aiding stranded vehicles during the challenging weather conditions. [KNT]
