Two vehicles of accused drug peddler confiscated in Srinagar

Srinagar, Dec 5, KNT: Police seized two vehicles acquired through proceeds of the illegal narcotics trade in Kashmir capital Srinagar.

The vehicles of Corolla brand DL4CNE-6086 and BMW JK01AF-0047 belonged to the accused drug peddler Mudasir Rasool Wani of Stadium Colony Natipora.

An FIR vide 36/2024 under section 8/21 NDPS Act was registered against the accused at Police Station Chanapora.

Police said that the seizure of vehicles acquired by illegal means through narcotics trafficking had been made under the provisions of the 68 NDPS Act.

Police said it is committed to eradicate the drug menace from the society. [KNT]
