Police locate two ‘lost’ doctors from Doodhpathri tourist destination

Budgam, Dec 2, KNT: Police rescue two doctors, both tourists after they got lost in the upper reaches of tourist resort Doodhpathri while exploring the area in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A police official told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that police station Khansahab received a distress call from the ‘lost’ doctors, prompting a search and rescue operation.

A team led by SHO Khansahib Zahoor Ahmad located the missing doctors after a thorough search amid freezing temperatures.

Police identified the duo as Ketan Goyal from Punjab and Hamidan from the eastern state of Meghalaya. [KNT]
