Kulgam, Dec 28, KNT: A medical team from DH Pora in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district successfully rescued an 8-month pregnant woman stranded due to massive snowfall that had blocked roads in the district.
A medico told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the woman, a resident of Dangerpora Chimmer in Khull, required urgent medical attention. Under the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Officer Kulgam, the medical team braved the harsh weather and challenging road conditions to ensure her safe transport to Sub-District Hospital DH Pora.
“Utilizing a 4×4 Scorpio ambulance equipped to navigate snow-covered roads, the team managed to reach the patient and provide immediate assistance. Our swift and coordinated response ensured that the said woman received the critical care she needed without delay,” he added.
