Anantnag, Nov 19, KNT: Anantnag, Nov 19, KNT: A middle-aged man was killed after being hit by a speeding tipper in the Verinag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Police identified the deceased as Muhammad Shafi Khan (45), son of Muhammad Yakub Khan, a resident of Omoh Verinag.
Police said that the victim died on the spot. “The tipper has been seized, the driver arrested and a formal case registered under relevant sections of law.” [KNT]
