Srinagar, Nov 14, KNT: Gurgaon-based quick-commerce service ‘Blinkit’ faces controversy after a customer claimed to have received fungus-infested Kashmir Red Chillies despite the pack’s expiry date being 2025.
The customer as per the news agency Kashmir News Trust took to social media, sharing photographs of the allegedly contaminated product, stating that they purchased the chillies from Blinkit a short while ago. The customer’s post has raised concerns about the company’s quality control measures.
Blinkit, formerly Grofers, prides itself on delivering groceries and essentials within 10 minutes of ordering through its mobile application. However, this incident has sparked questions about the company’s ability to ensure the quality and safety of its products.
