Alleged militant associate booked under Public Safety Act in Udhampur

Udhmapur, Nov 29, KNT: Police today said that it arrested a hardcore militant associate in Udhampur district of Jammu region and booked the accused under the Public Safety Act.

Police identified the accused as Abdul Satar, a resident of Ponara Soni village of Basantgarh Udhampur.

Police claimed that Satar was involved in multiple militancy-related cases and served as an active guide and facilitator for militant organizations until his arrest.

Police added that Abdul Satar’s activities warranted several FIR registrations at the Basantgarh police station, ultimately leading to his detention under the Public Safety Act. [KNT]
