Road Accident Kills Two In Kishtwar, 6 Injured

 

Kishtwar, Oct 23, KNT: Two persons died while nine passengers sustained injuries in a road accident in Kishtwar district of the Jammu division.

Official sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that a Tata Sumo (JK17-7378) traveling from Chasoti to Gulabgarh Padder met with an accident, resulting in two fatalities and six injuries.

The injured were rushed to Sub District Hospital Atholi Padder, where they have been receiving treatment.

The deceased have been identified as Akshay Kumar, son of Bansi Lal, and Parveen Kumar, son of Bal Krishan, both residents of Chasoti.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
