Ganderbal Attack: Jammu Muslim Front, Mission Statehood Condemn Central Govt’s Security Failure, Demand HM’s Resignation
Jammu, Oct 21, KNT: Jammu Muslim Front Chairman Shujah Zaffar and Mission Statehood President Sunil Dimple have strongly condemned the Gagangeer Ganderbal attack, resulting in 7 deaths, including a doctor, and 5 injuries.
The leaders blamed the Central Government for the security failure, emphasizing that the Omar Abdullah-led government has limited authority with key decisions being made by New Delhi.
“Despite central control, such incidents continue to occur, exposing the government’s inability to ensure public safety,” they said.
Zaffar and Dimple criticized the Home Minister’s claims of curbing militancy, citing rising civilian casualties. “The government has failed to provide security, and the Home Minister’s success claims are hollow and misleading,” they added.
The leaders demanded the Home Minister’s resignation, citing their poor track record. “It’s unacceptable that they continue to hold office despite such failures,” they said.
Zaffar and Dimple urged the Prime Minister to take immediate action, ensure justice for the victims’ families, and address the growing security concerns in Jammu and Kashmir. [KNT]
