Jammu, Oct 9, KNT: The Cyber Cell Jammu has recovered Rs 2.14 lakh from a fraudster who had duped a local resident.
The complainant approached the Cyber Cell Jammu, alleging that he had been cheated through deceitful tactics. Acting promptly, the cell sprang into action, leveraging its skilled human resource to track down the scammer.
The team recovered a substantial amount of Rs 2.14 lakh from the fraudster, bringing relief to the victim.
According to officials, the fraudster employed various tactics to extract money from unsuspecting individuals. “The Cyber Cell’s swift action serves as a deterrent to potential scammers and reassures the public of the authorities’ vigilance,” they said.
