Mission Statehood President Sunil Dimple Accuses BJP of Supporting AIP-Jamat Alliance
Srinagar, Sep 16, KNT: Sunil Dimple, President of Mission Statehood, has strongly condemned the BJP government’s alleged backdoor support and funding of Awami Itehad Party (AIP) leader Engineer Rashid and Jamaat-e-Islami elements, terming it a “nexus of anti-country forces.”
Dimple accused AIP-Jamat of being responsible for militancy, infiltration, and militant funding in Jammu and Kashmir, and alleged that the BJP-sponsored alliance is a threat to the nation’s integrity.
He demanded that Home Minister Amit Shah and the BJP government clarify their stand on Er Rashid and Jamaat candidates in the Doda rallies. Dimple appealed to the people of Kashmir to stand united against this “new force of anti-country elements” and hold the BJP accountable for their “anti-national stand.”
Dimple alleged that the BJP is playing a communal divide card to hide their failures and compromising the safety and sovereignty of the country.
Dimple also accused Er Rashid of playing into the hands of the BJP-RSS, exploiting the emotions of Kashmiri youths, and weakening the struggle for statehood and Article 370. He appealed to the people to remain vigilant and not be fooled by Er Rashid’s tactics.
He emphasized that Article 370, 35-A, and the Instrument of Accession are the foundation of Jammu and Kashmir’s relationship with India and vowed to continue fighting for their restoration. [KNT]
