Srinagar, Sep 12, KNT: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Ravinder Raina Thursday declared that the party is poised to win the upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir with a full majority. Speaking at the Panchayat AajTak event in Srinagar, Raina confidently asserted that the BJP will form the government, with the next Chief Minister hailing from the party.
Raina highlighted the transformative impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in the region, citing the restoration of peace and development. He dismissed allegations of the BJP backing proxy candidates, terming it “propaganda” from rival parties.
The BJP leader emphasized the party’s growing presence in Kashmir, with a focus on crucial constituencies like Habakadal and Anantnag West. He noted that the party has given tickets to Muslim candidates, showcasing its commitment to inclusivity.
Raina claimed that BJP is going to win the assembly seats from Gurez and Karnah.
With over 15 lakh primary members, Raina claimed that the BJP is now the largest political party in Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed confidence in the party’s ability to sweep the polls, predicting a historic win in the region. [KNT]
