2 infiltrators killed in J&K’s Rajouri
Army Monday claimed that it killed two infiltrators at the India-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.
The official said the army conducted the anti-infiltration operation in the Nowshera sector of the border district during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. The security forces killed two infiltrators and seized a cache of weapons, including AK-47 rifles.
This comes just days after a gunfight between security forces and militants in the same district. A group of militants fired a few bullets at the Army during a search operation and fled from the scene on September 3. No one was injured in this incident.
