Baramulla, July 3, KNT: While beating the sizzling summer heat, a 23-year-old youth drowned while taking a bath in a waterbody in North Kashmir’s Sopore town.
Official sources said that several people were taking bath in the Pohru Nallah. During the swimming, a youth drowned.
A rescue operation was launched to retrieve the youth presumed to be dead.
He has been identified as Aithisham Shafi, a resident of Nathipora Bomai Sopore.
Police have registered a case in this regard. [KNT]
