People must vote to elect their representatives: Shaheen
Janata Dal United president for Jammu and Kashmir GM Shaheen expressed anguish over the lack of facilities being offered to people in every sector including the Health Sector.
While addressing a press conference in Srinagar, GM Shaheen said that people have been facing immense hardships and they don’t have access to power corridors. He said there is no accountability and nobody is addressing the grievances of people.
“The lack of accountability have emboldened those who are at the helm of affairs. This situation will surely change once an elected government is formed in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
In response to a question, Shaheen said that people must exercise their franchise and elect those representative who do think deserve and can work for the people. “We must vote and we should not boycott like people did in past,” he said adding that government must take measures to ease the sufferings of the people.
