Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian appeals to govt to release Mirwaiz Umar Farooq

Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian president Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi has appealed to the government to release Mirwaiz Umar Farooq so that he can perform his religious duties.

Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian in a statement to news agency Kashmir News Trust said that government has put Mirwaiz under house arrest since 2019 and still claims that he is a ‘free man’.

The party president expressed shock over the claim made by the government saying that despite being under house arrest authorities claim that Mirwaiz is free.

Aga Syed Hasan appealed to the government to release Mirwaiz without any delay. [KNT]
