Senior Congress leader Prof Saifuddin Soz Monday said that Prime Minister has been criticizing the Congress party leaders for statements that they never made.
“I wonder how PM Modi makes the statements against Congress party leaders, attributing to them the statements which they never made.”
He said that Modi says, Malikarjun Kharge and other leaders of the Congress party made statements against Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Veer Savarkar.
“As far as Veer Savarkar, Congress leaders continuously criticized him for his numerous apologies to the British Govt. begging for his release. But, no Congress leader ever made any statement against Baba Saheb Ambedkar,” Soz said.
“One wishes that Prime Minister Modi, who enjoys an exalted position in the system, never made statements, which are not borne by facts,” Soz said adding that all this lowers Modi ji’s position before the ‘Bar Of The People’.” [KNT]
