Derailment at Mazhama in North Kashmir, no casualties reported

The coach of a passenger train on way to Baramulla from Banihal derailed near Mazhama railway station on Friday morning.
Official sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that one of the coaches of the train carrying passengers witnessed derailment near Mazhama in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, however, there was no loss of life.
They said that the train services on the route have been affected.
A railway official said that efforts are on to resume rail traffic on the route. He further said that train service from Budgam to Baramulla has been suspended.
He added that the derailed coach and railway tracks have been partially damaged. [KNT]
