A policeman was killed while a trooper sustained injuries after militants attacked a naka party in Pinglina village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.

The police said that militants fired upon the joint naka party of CRPF & Police at Pinglana, Pulwama. In this militant attack, one police personnel got killed while a CRPF personnel got injured.

Police said that reinforcement was sent shortly after the attack and area has been cordoned off.

The cordon and search operation of the village was in progress till the filing of this report. (KNT)
