Trooper on way to Kashmir taken into custody at Delhi Airport after bullets found in his luggage

A trooper posted in Kashmir Valley was apprehended by Airport authorities in New Delhi before boarding the flight.

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that CISF personnel recovered four 9MM live rounds from the luggage of a trooper at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The trooper was about to board a Srinagar-bound plane before the recovery of four bullets in his language. He has been identified as Anuj Pathak affiliated with 161 Battalion CRPF.

Sources added that the said trooper has been taken into custody for questioning.

Pertinently, a couple of troopers were taken into custody for the same reason at Srinagar Airport in the recent past. (KNT)
