25-year-old man electrocuted to death in North Kashmir’s Uri

A young man was electrocuted to death in North Kashmir’s Uri area of Baramulla district on Tuesday late evening.

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a 25-year-old man was electrocuted when he was repairing an electric wire.

The man received an electric shock and was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The victim has been identified as Muhammad Asrar Awan, a resident of Bandi Uri.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. (KNT)
