Police warn netizens of action for sharing objectionable content
Kishtwar, June 7, KNT: After the suspension of two BJP spokespersons after the ‘Islamophobic remarks’ snowballed into a controversy, the police in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir warned social media users of action in case they share objectionable posts.
Kishtwar police have informed mischief mongers that an FIR vide number 132/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at police station Kishtwar and the Cyber Cell of Kishtwar is closely monitoring the activity on social media platforms.
“The general public is advised to refrain from making any comment in verbal or any social media account and platform having the potential to hurt the religious sentiments of any class or community and disturb peace and tranquility in the area.” (KNT)
