Pulwama: Suspected militants shot at a cop in Gudoora village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that militants fired upon an SPO identified as Riyaz Ahmed Thokar in his native Gadoora village.
The victim suffered injuries and has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
The area has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway to nab attackers.
Police later in a tweet informed that the injured cop succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
