Budgam: A police officer posted in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district who had been admitted to a hospital yesterday after complaining of chest pain died today.
Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Jammu and Kashmir Police died at SKIMS during the wee hours of Thursday. He was the resident of South Kashmir’s Qazigund and was posted at District Police Lines Budgam.
Sources added that the deceased was not keeping well for the past year and yesterday he had been admitted in the hospital.
The body has been handed over to the family after the completion of all formalities. (KNT)
