Stray dogs maul a 12-year boy to death in North Kashmir

Baramulla: A 12-year little boy was mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The incident occurred at Gund Ibrahim Singhpora village of Pattan town.

Local sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a 12-year-old boy went missing from the village and after a hectic search his body that was mauled by stray dogs was retrieved from a local nallah.

The victim has been identified as Azan Manzoor, a resident of Gund Ibrahim Singhpora Pattan.

Pertinently, stray dogs have created havoc in parts of Kashmir Valley. They attack sheep on daily basis in Ganderbal and other parts. The government has miserably failed to control the canine population. (KNT)
