Man shot dead in Budgam, non-local labourer injured in militant attack in Pulwama

Pulwama: Militants shot dead a man in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district this evening.

Official sources said that suspected militants fired upon a man at Gotpora village.

The victim whom police identified as Tajamul Mohiuddin was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, unidentified militants shot at non-local labour in Gangoo village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the victim who hails from Bihar has been shifted to hospital for treatment.

Sources identified the victim as Biswajeet Kumar son of Paras Mandan of Bihar.

Police rushed to the village after the incident. (KNT)
