Budgam: Kashmir Army Commander Lieutenant General DP Pandey Wednesday visited the house of slain SPO in Chudbugh village of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district to express sympathies with the bereaved family.
On March 26, SPO Ishfaq Ahmed Dar and his brother Umar Jan were killed after militants fired upon them in their house at Chadbugh Budgam.
Family sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that GoC 15 Corps Lt Gen D P Pandey visited the slain SPO’s house and expressed sympathies with the family.
The Army Commander expressed grief and termed the slain young brothers bold and brave.
He assured the family members that the people behind these killings will soon be brought to justice. (KNT)
