Kashmir: SKIMS asks non-local staff to stay inside Institute Campus

Srinagar:  Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Soura here in Kashmir capital Srinagar have directed non-local staff to shift at SKIMS Campus. The SKIMS has made it clear that those who will reside outside the Institute will stay at his or her own risk.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the SKIMS has come up with this instruction after attacks on non-locals in parts of Kashmir Valley.

Medical Superintendent SKIMS has instructed that all the doctors and nursing para medical staff from outside the Valley working at SKIMS who are residing out of the Institute Campus are requested to shift immediately to SKIMS Campus. They need to contact Estates Department who have arranged for their accommodation within the Campus.

The arrangements have been on the directions of the Government and anybody who continues to reside outside the Institute Campus even after these instructions will be staying there at his / her own risk and responsibility.

Non-local staff working at SKIMS are staying in different parts of Srinagar and now Estates Department have arranged accommodation for them inside the Institute. (KNT)
