Five Indian soldiers charred to death in J&K’s Poonch

Five army soldiers were killed after a vehicle they were traveling in caught fire in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

Army said that the incident took place in Bhatadhurian area of Mendhar Sub Division in Poonch.

Army said that on Thursday one vehicle of Indian Army, while moving from Bhimber Gali to Sangiot in Poonch district of Jammu caught fire. In this tragic incident five soldiers of the Indian Army have lost their lives.

Army, however, didn’t inform about the cause of the incident, sources, however, said that the army vehicle caught fire due to lightning.

Another source said that blast inside the back side of the army truck can’t be ruled out. [KNT]
