Wounded soldier from South Kashmir succumbs

The army soldier died in the hospital today. After the medico-legal formalities his body has been dispatched to his native village at Larkipora Anantnag.

ANANTNAG: A local Army soldier who had sustained injuries after his service rifle went off accidentally yesterday succumbed to his injuries today.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that an army soldier Muneer Ramzan Ganaie who was part of 52 Rashtriya Rifles was injured in Sopore where he was posted when his service rifle went off accidentally yesterday.

The army soldier died in the hospital today. After the medico-legal formalities his body has been dispatched to his native village at Larkipora Anantnag. (KNT)
