SSP Budgam visits slain cops families of Sopore attack ‘Assures all possible help’
BUDGAM To express solidarity and see the wellbeing of the families of two slain policemen who were killed yesterday in Sopore militant attack, SSP Budgam along with other senior officers visited their families.
SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem visited Goripora Beerwah & Narbal area of Budgam. He was accompanied by ASP Budgam, SDPO Magam and other officers of the district.
Pertinently, two cops identified as Constable Wasim Ahmed Bhat son of Muhammad Saleem (657/IRP 3rd Battalion, a resident of Narbal Budgam and Constable Showkat Ahmed Parray son of Abdul Gani Parray (841/IRP 3rd Battalion) of Goripora Beerwah Budgam were killed in a militant attack in North Kashmir’s Sopore town yesterday. Two civilians were also killed in the attack.
SSP Budgam said that Police department is at the back of the families and always ready to render helping hand to them. He and other accompanying officers consoled the family members and prayed for the eternal peace of departed souls. On the occasion, he also assured that every support would be provided to the both families and expressed their solidarity with them. (KNT)
