SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Police have asked all police personnel to be in proper attire and wear caps as per rules or face action.
All the officers have been directed to ensure police personnel be in full attire.
“It has been observed that PSOs, Escort personnel and drivers of Police officers while performing duties are not wearing proper attire dress. Some Police personnel are performing duties without Caps. If any policeman is not comfortable with the Barret-Cap, he may be allowed to wear Tactical cap,” the order as per Kashmir News Trust reads.
It further reads that if any Police personnel is found without cap, he will be placed under suspension immediately.
All officers have been asked to convey these instructions to all Police personnel during roll calls. (KNT)
