ANANTNAG: Two South Kashmir youth allegedly involved in militant recruitment case were shifted to Srinagar Central Jail on Wednesday.
Police in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district had arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in militant recruitment case. They were booked under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act shortly after their arrest.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the both the persons who had been lodged at a police station were shifted to Srinagar Central Jail. Sources identified them as Muzamil Gulzar Wani of Nowgam Shangus and Asif Bashir Khanday of Dehruna Kokarnag village of Anantnag.
A case vide FIR number 35 /2021 under section 18, 18-B ULAP Act already stands registered against the duo. (KNT)
